Happy birthday, Gene!

Jim joined our Hay S hoil class in third grade, a transfer from St. Jude school. He was such a a nice guy ALWAYS, and I had planned to go to his funeral but there were no services. And yes, his last name was spelled Kirwan.

i remember you well even though you were a few years ahead of me at JHS. I knew your folks, Louis and Ernestine, and your beloved Mamaw. I still live just a few blocks down the road from your folks' place. My mom was Lois Fisher, who passed away about 2 years ago from cancer. Greetings from South Bend!

John and I went to school together from 1st grade all the way thru high school and still stay in touch regularly. We were fierce competitors in 6th grade solving math problems on the blackboard!
