Life has had its' ups and downs over the years, but I will just add some of the "ups." I was married to Emery Ferency for 29 years. Sadly Emery passed away in 2008. We have two daughters, Gail, is a research scientist and lives in Berlin, Massachucetts, and Lisa is married to Joe Gregory, is an elementary school teacher and lives in Niles, MI. I have two grandsons, Austin and Tyler (Lisa's boys). I worked for 30 years for the U.S. Postal Service as a city letter carrier in South Bend. I am now semi-retired, I drive school bus for John Glenn School Corporation.

I don't know if this is a "funny" memory, but I do remember getting sent to the principal's office for coming to school with my skirt too short, and consequently being sent home. Now let me tell you.....my skirt was like 1 inch above the knee that day, so today that would be considered just fine. Just sayin"!!
