The golf event for the JHS '73 50th reunion will take place on Sept. 9th. We will be playing th Knollwood East course, tee time has not been established yet. Cost per person with tax should be approximately $40.66. Club rental is available on a limited basis, I would have to know who needs clubs by Aug. 1st. I would not be able to get rental clubs the day of the event. I am also planning to get together in the bar for an hour or so after the event. This would be optional depending on each individuals plans. These are the tentative plans. As we get closer to the date I will firm things up. You may use my email as a link for anyone who is interested. The cutoff date for anyone who wants to play is Aug. 1st

Due to the Ramencon/Anime Convention in downtown South Bend the weekend of September 30, we are going to move the date of our 70th Bash to the weekend October 7. Hotel rates that are out of site and the lack of venues available for a Friday night gathering have forced the change.
The 70th Bash event is still scheduled from 6 PM to 10 PM in downtown South Bend at the Exchange Whiskey Bar, in their private room called "The Vault". We are planning on serving appetizers and deserts all provided by Ruth Chris. Cost for the event is expected to be between $20.00 - $25.00 per person. We have already received several donations to help reduce the per person cost. Anyone else wanting to make a donation, I would encourage you to do so sooner than later. All donations can be mailed to me and if you need my mailing address, email me at purduethompson@yahoo.com and I will provide it.
We hope to have an informal Friday night event gathering, however have not secured a venue as of this posting.
We are also trying to secure discount hotel rates, for those wanting rooms downtown, and will provide that information as soon as we know.
Invitations for the event are expected to be mailed out sometime in July.
